The majority of the work I did at the Basingstoke Gazette was on full page property adverts, following the specifications and layouts supplied by the Estate Agents. However I worked on advertising in all sections of the paper including Motors, Public Notices, Trades, Run Of Paper (the adverts which appear on the news and sport pages) and Birthday Announcements. Brain Chase Coles is a Basingstoke based legal firm and in December 2007 I put together a Christmas advert for them in two different sizes for the Basingstoke Gazette.

<reading warehouse>
Although by no means a work of art, the adverts which I produced for Reading Warehouses based in Tadley on a bi-weekly basis for many years whilst I was at the Gazette, they do represent a significant amount of work. As per the customer's specification every line of type is expanded to fill the line creating a strong block style.
