<computers and the internet>
As my work involvement with computers has developed over the years this has been paralled by my own personal interest in computing and the internet. I have been an active user of the internet for over 10 years and I regularly visit a diverse range of sites and forums which has allowed me to create a network of good friends scattered all around the globe.
<active lifestyle>
I lead an active and healthy lifestyle, working out at the gym twice a week and enjoying the great outdoors with hiking, climbing and mountain biking when I can. In fact cycling is my main mode of transport which helps keep me in great shape.
<listening to music>
I have a great love of music, predominantely rock/indie music and I have a large music library on my home PC. Over ten thousand tracks, all rated and organised so I can create any kind of playlist I might want quickly and easily. I also enjoy going to concerts, gigs and music festivals and try to get to at least one festival a year.
<reading books>
As you may have gathered from my prior employment at Games Workshop I have always enjoyed fantasy and science fiction related hobbies. As my tastes have matured over the last few years I rarely play tabletop games anymore but will occasionaly spend time painting miniatures which I find very relaxing and theraputic. My interest in the genre is more commonly enjoyed via the medium of movies, television programmes and books. I really enjoy reading and I always try to get a chapter read before sleep every night.
<computer games>
I also like computer games and own a Playstation 2 and the new Nintendo Wii, which is in my opinion a technically brilliant machine. The kind of games I play are action/adventure, role playing games, driving, shooting and fighting games. Computer games are a good way to destress in the evening and do a great job of improving hand-eye coordination and keeping the brain active with puzzle and problem solving challenges.
